Letter From The Editor The joy that I get from seeing all of you have fun each week is the reason why this is not a job, but a lifestyle. We do all of this for you, our players. When I first started working here I was astounded that Kalamazoo had such a great organization for Adult Coed Sports. Now it is my mission to make sure that everyone knows about the great things going on in this state. Hope to see you all on the dodgeball courts soon! ALOHA!

As summer weather is coming to an end, what better way to celebrate by bringing in a Luau theme on Monday, October 5th. Bring your own tropical island to the fields and play ball! Here are a few drink recipes that you might like during this week! :)

Blue Hawaiian: 

1 oz. Rum (Light) 

1 oz. Coconut Rum 

1/2 oz. Blue Curacao Pineapple Juice 

Blue Layer:

1/4 cup pineapple juice, strained to remove solids

1/4 cup Vodka

1 envelope Knox gelatin

1/4 cup blue curacao liqueur

                                       1/4 cup coconut rum

Yellow Layer:

3/4 cup pineapple juice, strained to remove solids

1/4 cup Rose's lime juice

1 envelope Knox gelatin

We will be doing a competition of the most dressed up spirited team. Team pictures will be taken at The Library & Kitchen Taphouse (Our partnered bar) after the games are finished! KSSC will be offering Coed Soccer this fall! Games will be on Tuesday's from 6-9 P.M at Mayor's Riverfront Park. Sign up here!  

We also have Coed Flag Football on Tuesday's from 6-9 P.M. at Mayor's Riverfront Park. Register Here

Summer 1 Season Wrap Up

It is almost that time of the season where we must say our goodbyes.. for two weeks that is. Here is the low-down on what you can expect as we wrap up what has been an amazing Summer 1 season:

-Due to Mother Nature's unfortunate timing, we have had to reschedule a number of games. Make sure to check, and double check, what your rescheduled dates and times are! We apologize for the inconvenience over the season but we are doing our best to ensure that you get to play a complete 7 week season!

-We are excited to be back at The Library for the remainder of the season! Make sure to stop out after leagues and enjoy all of the fabulous food and drink specials, along with live music and of course, JENGA!

-Awards Night will take place the last night of leagues immediately following the last round of games at The Library for Wednesday night leagues and Shakepeare's lower level for Monday night leagues. Don't miss out on our end of the season celebration and tribute to those teams that rocked it out on the fields and at the bar (...or didn't).

-Lucky for you, Summer 2 season is right around the corner and you won't have to miss us for too long! Don't forget to sign up before it's too late! Prices will increase for softball, Wednesday night kickball, and grass volleyball on June 29th and June 24th for Monday night kickball.
